Swayam Siddha, meaning self-reliant, empowers members with meaningful employment, fostering independence and dignity. It’s a warm community where members build strong social bonds, celebrating birthdays, festivals, and special moments together, feeling valued and loved in a world that can be challenging.
Since its start, the society has thoughtfully identified suitable vocations for the disabled community, including stationery supply, festive décor, laundry tags, hair accessories, corporate gifting, and candle making. Proceeds fund member stipends and development programs, with additional support like wheelchairs or hand-pedaled cycles provided as needed, uplifting lives with care and opportunity.
